Riots in Baltimore raise questions about police response

Wrong. The questions are about the Mayor's response. Give the rioters space. We had it under control.
It is not necessarily probable cause to chase someone.

Black, female, and a Democrat. She'll get out of this mess she helped create with her reputation intact.

Oh no, I didn't know. This truly saddens me.

Default Baltimore Mayor Lies About her "wish to destroy" Comment

The Baltimore Mayor said, "We also gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that as well." She added, "And we worked very hard to keep that balance..."

Now she denies having said that, but her words are on the video, as Megyn Kelly at Fox News has it, and has played it.

She has been caught in a blatant lie, and she says, "It is very unfortunate that members of your industry decided to miss-characterize my words, and try to use it as a way to say that we are inciting violence.

This woman should resign from office immediately. To allow people to destroy property, and then lie about what she said, is unforgivable.

Further, this kind of protest is a clear violation of law. Freedom to assemble does not allow for stopping vehicles etc. This was unlawful assembly.

This raged out of control largely because of her mishandling of this entire incident.

The media reported the facts, which included her exact words. The media has not misquoted her.

No worries, the network that brought you Candy Crowley (the oh-so-unbiased moderator) is apparently trying to blame it on the governor instead.

That, and I suspect the city lawyers had a chat with her about culpability.

Let's be real here! Doe anyone in their right mind actually think that rioting, causing harm to innocent people, and destroying private businesses is going to solve anything? In fact stuff like this is only going to make the cops crack down that much harder! If you really want change, then YOU NEED TO CHANGE THOSE AT THE TOP!!!! You know.... the ones who employ the cops!

oh it doesn't matter now. the liberal media will eat that up and go along with it.
the fact that Fox News is holding her accountable will be more fuel for the liberal left in demeaning Fox.
but you have to ask yourself, why is it, the liberal media only shows the bad side of the black community?

The pictures and stories about Police just standing in a long line while the Burning and Looting takes place all around them - this is also what we saw in Ferguson the nights that the MOB went wild. I don't live in an area where this could happen - No Democrats in charge that will turn over the City to Anarchy.
Anyone who does needs to really think about where you live. Understand that if trouble comes, your City/Government Leaders will abandon you to the MOB.

I guess the theory is "just let them vent", "just give them their space to destroy" ..... maybe it's all about an attempt to contain the violence and Anarchy to certain neighborhoods in order to try and protect the rest of the City. That's exactly what they did in St Louis and Clayton. They gave the MOB an area to destroy - their own neighborhoods.

Only 27 people were arrested last night - the destruction is huge. Some of this will not come back for decades .... if ever. The Politically Correct networks like CNN, NBC, MSNBC can "blame" Republicans all they want - the evidence is clear that Madam Mayor & the Race Hustlers are calling the shots and will reap the whirlwind.

She declared Open Season for Riots in her own City - the Police clearly had a Stand Down order.

In the name of justice and in remembrance of Freddie Gray.

Well done, lefties. You have enabled and run interference for this culture and this conduct. This is on you and your collectivist ideology and this created dependency class that keeps it going.

This fire, these riots and this looting are a monument to your failed leftist ideology.

Strange for her to stand up and lie about her own words. She then blames the media for taking her words out of context.

She sure got a fast makeover for her TV appearance.
