She could use this to her advantage, sure. I just think the protection of women's rights to feed their child through breastfeeding or pumping of milk is more important. They should have started the proceedings right after she pumped and then had one scheduled break.
So, let's say a woman plays for the WNBA and her team is out of timeouts. Should any mother at that time be allowed to halt the game to go pump?

They knew beforehand that she would need a break in order to use a breastpump to provide milk for her baby. They knew beforehand. And as has been pointed out repeatedly on this thread, the breasts start producing milk on the baby's feeding schedule. Women's breasts start leaking milk. And it's not pleasant. Full breasts hurt. And when they leak, they leak right through the bra, right through the shirt. Dripping milk in public is more humiliating then requesting a medical break from a deposition. When the opposing attorneys try to prevent you from leaving, and you bring out a device to emphasize the urgency of your medical issue, that's appropriate.
As for your example, why would the game be halted? I believe in sports that players are regularly switched out?

No, because she didn't. She had a breast pump and was going to use a prearranged break to go into a private conference room to pump breast milk into a bottle, so it could be given to the baby at another time.

Period. She wanted to use that break. Trump and his attorney wanted to stop her from taking that break. She brought out a piece of medical equipment to emphasize that she needed to take this break. And she got it, with the added benefit of Trump telling her she was "disgusting".
