You don't have to.

The idea that they will self deport and save right wing republicans from getting blood on their hands is ridiculous. If anyone thinks that the parents of a legal anchor baby(which is the bulk) are going to voluntarily self deport and leave their American children here alone is the height of fantasy. You will need special teams with guns and hogties to round them up late at night when they come home from cleaning the office buildings or cooking in the restaurants. The world wide media will broadcast the vicious tactics and resulting violence everywhere and doom the republican party for all time.
Be very careful what you wish for.
If you can't get a job or benefits for yourself, you have little choice but make a tough choice.

It probably would. The problem is in part that is why Boehner is gone and why Cantor was defeated.

For the good of the country? When has amnesty ever been good for the country? Neither party who advocates for that or compromises on this is not looking out for the good of our country nor it's citizens.

There is a quite robust job system working off the books. You would simply grow it and make it stronger...a thing that is likely very bad for the society. Build with Greece as a model?

Virtually the entire residential construction industry in the Southwest is Hispanic and run in a way that makes enforcement of labor laws virtually impossible. Same thing is true in other industries like landscaping and janitorial services.

It may well be possible to shut down any large industrial use of illegal labor but that will prove small gain over all.

It is not good for the country. Just vastly better than doing nothing and having it get worse.

And we could very well do amnesty again and screw up the follow through again.

But doing nothing only makes it worse.

It's not difficult no matter how hard you try and pretend it is.

Not difficult - For all intents and purposes impossible.

Any particular one can be easily busted . To be reformed and operative again within an hour.

No they can't.......a guy was busted here. (I'll find the story if need be). He had a restaurant hiring illegals. He was busted, charged, got jail time and his house, business and cars were sold at auction.

How is he going to start up a new business?

Glad the laws are being enforced somewhere.

Every subcontractor across a vast set of fields in Las Vegas is Hispanic. The prime contractors are not. You bust a sub it vanishes instantly and a new sub forms. Nobody has been put out of business in years and years. Try it. DR Horton, Lennar, Toll Brothers, Christopher...and on and on. Every one is using sub crews of uncertain citizenship. See how many have been shut down in the last ten years. I will help...the answer is none.

Sure a sub may get busted periodically. His brother in law has it up and going again the next afternoon.

YOu are simply being naive. This is dug into a vast section of the US economy and is not coming out.
