Considering the rampant Islamaphobia going on nowadays (people and mosques being attacked), not only do I think they should be allowed to possess them, I'd recommend the ones that don't to go out and buy them. As long as you're a law abiding citizen with no sort of violent criminal record, you should have the right to protect yourself and your family, regardless of race or creed.

150 years ago, even violent criminals, got their gun back after release from incarceration.
It was a right, that could not be denied them. All your rights were returned, once you paid back society.
Muslim Americans should have the same rights as any other American. Period.
I bet the OP didn't expect the results they got...
The question was political. Thinking there would be a big division, so they could show the hypocrisy of the 2nd amendment fans, that isn't there....
Failure!
Rights can not be taken away. You always have them.
the 2nd amendment protects those rights, from government overreach.
The only amendment that amending it, would violate it. Excellently worded.
Shall not be infringed... Means trying to infringe is unconstitutional, and the very amendment used to preserve itself. Without it, the constitution of free people, no longer exists.
I'd be interested to know yours because few things tick me off more than posters who solicit opinions without offering theirs.
Okay, let's see if I can explain this to your satisfaction:
Had this simply been a discussion as opposed to a poll I would have of course led off with my own opinion. But since it's a poll I didn't want to immediately 'taint' it with bias. Rather I wanted to see how the flow of discussion went, including among those on here who are accustomed to (even comfortable with) arguments that immediately veer to the extremes.
I'm not aware of any 'professional' pollsters who lead off with their own opinion, as it would of course affect the poll results. I AM aware of pollsters with agendas, who deliberately pose their question(s) in such a way as to influence the results. That's also something I wanted to avoid, so I tried to pose the question as neutrally as I could. That make sense?
To answer your question, my opinion is that they should be afforded the same rights, including 2A rights, as any other citizen. So I voted 'Yes'.
A little heads up: once the poll has run it's course, I might take the discussion a little further down the rabbit hole.

I'm pleased to inform you that you simply could not be more mistaken.

Yet, somehow you forgot the what, where, when and why, before you pointed to who in your conclusion.
Failure! I'm glad you are not my lawyer.
