Troll? Not hardly. We've got people here proposing rounding them up, putting them on special watch lists, making them wear identifying insignia, and closing their mosques.

If any of these proposals have merit, surely the question of whether they should be allowed to have guns also has merit.

I don't think the Muslim American citizens should be demonized, if they are American citizens, they should enjoy the same rights other citizens enjoy.

However, I do agree with this poster.

FBI data from last year show that people on the watchlist were cleared to purchase guns 94 percent of the time.

The idea that an American should be treated differently because of their religion, ethnicity, location, etc is abhorrent but sadly such ignorant beliefs seem to be the root of this "fauxservative" movement that is hijacking the Republican Party as of late.
Actually, there aren't. However, there's at least one faux conservative who thinks that he's helping the Republican Party by parroting false Democrat talking points about conservatives.

As long as they meet the legal requirements (age, non-felon, not "adjudicated mentally incompetent"), they should be able to. Just like KKK members, the New Black Panther Party members and BLM members can legally own guns. Doesn't mean we should import more of any of the above groups though. Nor that we shouldn't be concerned about it. But legal, yes.

As long as they don't have any connections to terrorist groups, sure.

As somebody who both supports the second amendment and treating non-criminal Muslims with the same respect as everyone else, this one is easy for me!

So American citizens should be treated differently just because of their religious beliefs? What kind of alternate universe have I stepped into? How can anyone possibly agree with Americans being denied FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS solely because of what religion they follow?

None of these proposals have any more merit than the 1934 Nuremburg Laws of Germany. THey both have absolutely no merit.

And that's probably most of them. Be a bit difficult weeding out the "good" Mohammed's from the bad Mohammed's.
