Really? Cosby was not a popular actor nor a powerful man in the 60s and 70s. Yet we are to believed he raped dozens of women and got away with it?

Say what? Cosby was an A-List Hollywood Celebrity by the late 60's. He already won 3 Emmys for his starring role in the I Spy series, and a Grammy for his 1st album. He also had his own sitcom by 1968. In the 70's, Cosby created and produced Fat Albert, as well as starring in several movies. Not to mention all of his comedy albums (18 of them before 1980) and TV commercials. Jello anyone? Coke? Bill Cosby was definitely a household name, even back then. He transcended race. He had VIP clout, and other VIP's had a vested interest in him.

Are you kidding me? Bill Cosby was the premier black actor of that time. He had several stints on tv and was the first black lead in on a tv show. I don't think you could get more well known than that.

Not to mention the studio. Could imagine if it got out that the number one black actor was raping women during the era of civil rights? It would pushed mainstream black entertainers back decades.

The fact is that most of these women were all over Cosby because he was the man back then; they were either trying to advance their own careers or were groupies. How many celebrities do you think give drugs to women while they're at after parties or whatever? And how many women are willing to do the drugs? None of these women "accusing" Cosby are angels. I'm thinking majority, if not all, knew what they were getting themselves into.

Ah yes the old "They were asking for it" opinion. Couldn't be that a man might be culpable. No it's due to the woman's actions, dress, attitude. They are all asking for it of course.

Oh please. So if someone "rapes" you, are you gonna sit around dwelling on it for 30 years before you tell the police? Especially when the person who did it wasn't some random attacker in an alley, but a famous household name? Ok dokie.

Yeah. Largely because of people that think just like you.

So then why come out at all. How do you really expect to prove something that happened 30 years ago in private.

If you and I knew each other and I went to the police and said you punched my mother in the face in 2003, how would you expect to prove it didn't happen.

Are you going to ignore how a few of the women have already been caught lying?

And don't tell me it was only a few, because in time more may be caught.
