We should equalize their income too!

And who is it that decides exactly how much each person should earn? You?

The people. I mean, the liberals. I mean the 47% of people who don't pay taxes.

So are you confused as to why famous actors/athletes command the money they do and want a discussion on it or are you just looking to stir up an argument?

Where is their union to redistribute this inequity? The guy who operates the camera works more hours than the "star" who may only have a few minutes of screen time? Shouldn't he get paid more?

I think it could be argued that CEO's are the beneficiaries of nepotism, mainly among the boards of these large publicly-traded firms. There's a whole network of CEO's who are on boards, and boardmembers who are CEO's, just going around inflating each other's salaries.

While actresses tend to negotiate their pay based on an estimation of how much they'll bring to the box office, which is a more legitimate representation of their value.

I think a bunch of people got a few releases from seeing Jennifer Aniston in "Horrible Bosses".

Wait, what are we talking about again? Oh yeah, overpaid actors. Meh, whatever.

Did I trigger a trend

I'm not surprised at these ridiculous checks actors get at all

They bring box office.

You guys are going and buying these tickets, merchandise...etc.

I'm boycotting

It's been years since i last went to a movie or game.

That's what i can do.
