"Applying income equality" involves pointing a gun at someone one way or another. That makes you a robber and thus a criminal. I hope you burn in hell for that.
I don't begrudge top entertainers or athletes the wages they command because, as others have stated, their pay is based directly on demand for their services.
But I have often thought that non-producers should be taxed at a higher rate than producers.

I mean seriously why should they be paid so much money? What do they produce? No technology, products, services? Nothing. This is income inequality at the finest.

and the only way to fix this and the other high salaries for athletes and musicians is to quit supporting them with your purchase of tickets, CD's, DVD's and other branded merchandise.
