I think private property rights should be respected and that the respect given is a sign of a free society. And I believe that there should be no distinction between home and business. It is the right of ownership to make the rules within their respective domains.

What's hard to understand about keeping those with penises out of multiple occupancy girls'/women's restrooms/changing/locker/shower room facilities, and vice versa?

Anyone who wants to change their sex and has completed sex reassignment surgery... fine... use the facilities of your surgically anatomically reassigned gender.

I think the people who are just 'offended' that there are people in our society that have a problem with so called trans gendered men using a ladies room really do not get it. The same people probably do not have very young children so really don't care about the impact.

It's time for these threads to close. These idjits couldn't "get it" if it were sitting on their face. It's useless to try to point out their stupidity & hypocrisy, you can't fix stoopid.

Nope. You have nothing on which to base that assertion. Especially when sexual orientation is NOT a federally protected class, and this case was tried in federal court.

The bigger hurdle is indecent exposure laws. How do trans persons with penises get around those laws when flashing their penises around in girls'/women's multiple occupancy restrooms/locker/shower rooms (and vice versa), especially when MINOR victims are present?

Those convicted of indecent exposure have to register as sex offenders for life.

Many of us get this: FELONY indecent exposure. It's codified as a FELONY when committed on school grounds and/or if there are MINOR victims.

Prosecute these trans with penises for flashing them around girls (and vice versa). Let them endure the consequences of their actions: register as a child sex offender for life.

The threshold is whatever it takes to get your local or state gov't. to mandate bathroom usage based on sexual identity or expression. I don't know about your local law in Long Island, or for NYS, but I doubt there's a statewide mandate for all accommodations to have bathroom of choice options. Boycott LI ?

What exposure happens in a women's restroom?

Ah, so as long as a guy shaves and puts some swing to his hips, you won't know. The stereotype that you guys run with is just laughable. A man wearing a dress isn't going to be who rapes your daughter, it is going to probably be someone she knows.
