Is IL a bigot state? It's a BLUE state. IL parents are suing the school district AND the Obama Admin who forced their minor daughters to unwillingly submit to FELONY indecent exposure (the "self-identified" MTF trans exposed his penis in school's multiple occupancy girls' restroom/locker/shower rooms).
Bigots reside in every State, but every State isn't run by them.
Persons tat have had their sexual organs changed should use the restrooms with the appropriate plumbing. Even male restrooms with the wall of urinals have some privacy and female restrooms have individual cubicles. If privacy is the main concern the male restrooms could simply make the partitions between the urinals larger.
Note- people that have these operations have considered themselves to be the sex they were changed to accommodate. One could consider that female oriented men transgendered into females have been using male restrooms most of their lives. Male oriented females have been doing the same.
I think this debate is an attempt by the conservative religious right to force their views that transgender operations are almost as evil as abortion and should be prevented, along with any legal accommodation, by the force of government. My opinion is if your religious beliefs consider a particular act evil then do not do that act yourself. Do not try to use law to force the rest of us to go along with your beliefs.

I've dated trans people. I've lived with them. One of my best friend, also a former lover, is trans. Trust me, when you get to know transgendered people on a personal level, you will realize how ridiculous your accusations are.

You DO understand that doing so is a FELONY indecent exposure sex crime due to the occurrence on school grounds and/or the fact that the reporting victims are minors, no?
Have you somehow completely missed the fact that news frequently reports that school kids are charged with sexual harassment/assault merely for hugging, holding hands, etc., with another student? Where the hell have YOU been? /SMH
We live in a world where we now keep our real thoughts to ourselves and due to severe punitive political correctness we dare no reveal our true selves and beliefs and thoughts. This is all about reconditioning the attitudes and norms of people at the earliest age possible.
Who is spear heading this cultural revolution? I would say in part it is the egg head liberal professors who teach in our universities and council our politicians on how to create a BETTER society. The problem is that these advocates that push this experimentation have no children. They have no skin in the game.
If the experiment fails all they can say is oh well lets try something else. If you look at the results of the cultural revolution that took place in China - where they murdered millions of thinking people and generated an evil social equality....the results was a huge massive slave state of unhappy medicated working drones that supported what is now a parasitic ruling elite.
In time this is what will take place in America. There will be a class of drones that have no real personal identity, no real defined sexuality. If you are going to experiment on society as a hobby....you better think ahead and envision the future. These who think they know better than us really do not think ahead 40 years and really do not know what they are creating....because they really do not care. They think we are dumb monkeys who need training and reprograming.
Now I will get religious on you...Our society and democracy was based on a Christian principle...When Christ said that he did not come to save the whole flock of sheep but had come to save the singular individual sheep that had fallen into the pit. This idea is to show the sanctity of the INDIVIDUAL. That one person is as important as a million.
The so called progressives are all about numbers...the collective...the common good. They are willing to sacrifice the individual in hope of progressing the collective. The sad part is when you trample on the rights of the singular person you in fact taint and destroy and decay the collective.
In time this is what will take place in America. There will be a class of drones that have no real personal identity, no real defined sexuality. This has already been happening nowdays. I've noticed for a while now that kids are allowed now to only have one personality and one set of beliefs...for all their attempts to be soo unique and have such individual expression by wearing all their zany outfits and blue hair and tattoos, all young people today have been programmed to pretty much think and act the exact same as one another...they're not unique at all once you get right down to it...there used to be the jocks, the goth kids, artsy kids, the nerdy kids etc...but you don't even really see the different clicks of kids nowdays...nowdays they are all just one in the same and all walk around regurgitating their pre-programmed lines about equality to one another, and anyone else who will take them seriously.
