‘One way philosophers might think about solving the social justice problem would be by simply abolishing the family. If the family is this source of unfairness in society then it looks plausible to think that if we abolished the family there would be a more level playing field.’
Were we not already aware that there are some libs out there who have been trying to do just that by pushing every little agenda that they have down our throats including, but not limited to: rewarding single motherhood, (benefits!!!), rewarding single YOUNG mothers, (their own MTV program!!!), rewarding promiscuity, rewarding killing babies, renaming babies to "fetus" to fool people in to thinking that they aren't killing babies, bashing on every single religious person out there (it really should not matter to you if you don't believe in the "fairy in the sky" move the **** on already), mocking family units, rewarding horrific behavior of younger people, trying to remove "mother" and "father" from birth certificates, etc.
They've been at it for awhile. Do people not put the "tiny things" together? Does everyone just wait for the big stuff to happen before they take notice of anything?
You all don't remember the multitude of quotes by "environmentalists" who openly stated how much they wanted humans to die off the face of the earth? You all don't connect the dots that we call babies by some scientific name to make it more acceptable to kill? You all don't understand agendas that (again) environmentalists have in certain parts of the country - draining areas dry because they don't want people living there anymore so they make it as inhospitable and fruitful as possible? You all aren't paying attention to what is going on in Europe? You all aren't paying attention to everything that has been going on in this country for the past couple of decades? All those little things? You all thought they were just little things that meant nothing? How about how dumb our youth is these days? They can't spell, they can't form coherent sentences, we distract them with shiny handheld devices that allow them to call people every racist thing they can think of in a comment section under a video, they have no critical thinking skills anymore, they've never been taught to ask what something means, they don't even get taught except to pass some insipid test so the school continues to get money...and you all didn't notice that? You didn't notice that it went from "there's no difference between winners and losers, we all get a ribbon" to "there's no difference between males and females, we are whatever we want to be" everything is a "social construct" (eye roll), we have people who don't even identify as humans anymore - they are dogs, cats, lizards, etc? You all didn't notice that? And these mental illnesses have been embraced as "normal"? We aren't allowed to talk lest we "trigger" someone? You all didn't notice?
FFS I could go on all night. Can you all start paying attention? This article is no surprise. I am not sure why anyone here acts like this is something new. This mindset isn't new...they're just willing to come out and say it these days because they have sufficiently worked the public over in to mindless twits who will buy in to anything as long as it's put in to a 30 second commercial with a really cool track behind it.
Look like a typical ends justify the means argument of psychopaths. If we take children away from their parents and the society is more fair( as if "fair" actually means better of course), then the ends justify the means.
How about this one instead. If r -slected breeder spawn is allowed to die in the street, then only K-selected good parents will remain. The end is good too is it not? Nail the door shut in every broken home.
Boy, am I getting tired of reading words like "advantage" and "privilege" when someone is discussing the norms we should all aspire to.
How about parenting classes to get some parents up to speed instead of trying to dismantle everything that already works, simply because not everyone does or has them?

‘I don’t think parents reading their children bedtime stories should constantly have in their minds the way that they are unfairly disadvantaging other people’s children, but I think they should have that thought occasionally,’ quips Swift.
Well, this guy sounds like a genius I'm unable to keep up with, but I think parents who do NOT read their children bedtime stories should have in their minds the way they are unfairly disadvantaging their own children. They should think about those things constantly until it creates such discomfort they're forced to act upon it and start doing the right thing for their own kids - particularly since what they're not doing affects society as much as what the rest of us ARE doing.
It is just amazing to me how many people do not understand that simple fact.
* And I don't believe that amount of social engineering or legislation will ever make it so, unless there is a way to make all of us exactly alike -- and I think that would be even worse.
The Left's philosophy isn't to raise people up, it's to break them down to the lowest common denominator. Their answer to poverty is to put everyone in it so it's fair to everyone else. Their answer to not having a family environment is to destroy it so nobody has it so it is fair for all. This is nothing new, it's their village/tribal outlook on everything. Individuality is shunned by Leftists unless you are a part of the elite class like a politician or entertainer.
