Bingo. How about instead of trying to dumb everyone down, we as adults try to improve the lives of our children by actually being the parents we have the responsibility to be? It's a lot of work and the biggest responsibility in our lives. Those who aren't willing to bear that responsibility to ensure the success of our future generations shouldn't be allowed to pro-create.

The whole point of the article is to make people aware of this - inequity. That is how you get into peoples' heads and there are attempts to soften it by the writer and this "philosopher" but we all know what it is attempting to do. People, by all means read to your kids, give them love and attention but JUST remember there are poor children getting none of this and your privileged children better know this and be willing to give something up and feel guilt for their privilege of having heard the Three Bears.
