Jeez Dallas PD, way to tweet this guy's pic which has now been retweeted over 40k times. God I hope some raging gun fanatic doesn't go after him. Open carry is common in Texas...why was this guy a suspect?

I'm sure it was racism. At least in your mind.

Btw, this is some wild ****! And absolutely frightening!
One suspect is probably not one of the shooters - he's turned himself in peacefully.

The other suspect - don't know anything about him.

A suspicious package has been found by the bomb squad.

Personally I think at least one sniper got away.

Someone just got arrested on one of the freeways by about a gazillion cops. Two people are now in custody.

Rapidly changing news!

Sure, there are bad apples in any group/profession, and yes, fully prosecute those that are bad, but I think the vast majority of them are just doing their job/trying to stay alive and this is the kind of nonsense they have to put up with today.

Perhaps we should start talking about being racist against police? This sure sounds like the true definition of it.
Yes, the police have really become scapegoats. I've never seen it phrased that way, but thank you for phrasing like this.

Do you even "get" how ridiculous that statement is?
I was in the military and carried an M4 for years. I also just bout an AR15. So yes, I know what the most commonly used and owned AR15 sounds like. Do you?

I don't know but the local news does seem to be doing a good job.

Now two people are in custody for sure.
