Just hope that Trump can take a logical and evolved approach to dealing with evil in the form of terrorism...Hilary just wants to kill everyone which only feeds the evil...I hope that Trump will use his negotiation skills when dealing with terror...and does not get reactionary such as the previous administration has been.

I felt relieved. After all, being that Hillary is a known liar and said there is a difference between her public and private who knows what we will get.

I watched AOL spend an entire election cycle trying to defeat Trump. The liberals don't even try to hide it anymore. I think that was one of the most startling things about this election. They are just out there. EVERY TIME I went to check my email (yes, I still have aol!) staring me in the face was a negative Trump article. EVERY TIME. No, absolutely no, exceptions. After a while I just cements your disgust with them.

Turn on ABC news. EVERY TIME, the first 10 minutes of each show was dedicated to bash Trump. No exceptions. Now they just use the first 8 minutes. And there is an exception if there is a critical national story. But they still offer a constant drumbeat, every night, of biased "news" reporting. They don't even seem to understand that we're onto them. Or maybe they just don't care.

I knew there was division in the country, but I didn't really know its personality. Now I do. Arrogant, immature, misinformed, uninformed, loud, whiney. And more. That has been jolting to watch. I would like to think that I live in a country inhabited by at least semi-rational adults. Apparently I don't. And that knowledge changed me.

"Negative Trump article." Can you define this phrase please? I hear people use it all the time and I'm really not sure what it means.

Yes! You are so correct. We are a country where the imbeciles have overtaken the intelligent people. It's so scary to think that these people can have such an impact as to elect that fool.

I think I got a little more faith that there are still some people in government that will stand up to evil people and try to stop them and hinder their plans. Wikileaks has done an immeasurable service to this country and helped expose just how truly horrible the Clintons and their circle are. But exiling them from the political scene isn't enough. Now we need to see justice served and have them hauled in handcuffs into court and then sent to prison.

I'll congratulate Wikileaks when they release Trump's tax returns. That would be a true service to all Americans. Concentrating on one candidate smacks of partisanship and is the height of hypocrisy for a group who says they just want the truth.

...And if they released yours - which are every bit as confidential as Trump's - would that also be a "service to all Americans"?

See, the thing is, people who voted for him don't care about the minutiae of Trump's tax returns. We recognize that those who clamor for the returns never had any intention of voting for him.
We don't care about your; we don't care about his. We are interested if one of you has broken the law, but that's all.

But paid trolls have already been infiltrating popular forums like reddit so not sure where we go after this for honest public opinion. Other than that, I might have lost some liberal friends but I will survive. I am sure they will come around. Didnt insult them or anything, just asked few basic questions that they agreed made a convincing case for Trump but still they hated him too much to vote for him. Overall I am happy that I might be able to save some money next year & we will be focusing on correcting domestic issues in our country.
It made me realize how backwards and hateful half of this country is. Obviously we all knew Neo-Nazis, racists, bigots, education haters, etc. are out there, but this election confirmed they are absolutely huge numbers.

So many people view sticking it to the other side and promoting hatred above the good of the country. No other reason why you would exalt a reality tv star with no experience who whines like a baby and is already profiting off the Presidency before he's even in office. Trump voters just gave the middle finger to America.
