Turnout at the Trump inauguration was significantly lower than for Obama. This isn't surprising because 53.9% of voters voted for someone other than Trump.
And the weather wasn't exactly great, either.
I think the whole thing is rather boring this year. Still, I'm sure some of his supporters wanted to be present and they had a decent crowd, either way.

Just so happy this day is here! I waited a lonnnnnngggg time and glad to see Donald Trump at the helm of the ship! He is now in command of this vessel. Go Captain Trump!
Hillary's defeat and loss of power is a hurt to her much more than any Govt Investigation or jail could be. We do (and Trump) just need to let her fade away into the history books. There are enough Clinton followers to keep her content the rest of their lives.
We shall hardly ever hear from her again much like the Bushes. Hopefully she will do some good work for others.
I do think losing to Trump was worse than all those investigations she dealt with before. I am sure it took a big toll on her.
While I think we'll hear from her again, she won't run for President again. And, I do not think she should. This was her chance to do this, and she still has the distinction of being the first female major party candidate and the first candidate to receive such a large number of actual votes.
So, she should take that bit of success and be proud of it, but keep it as a sign that this wasn't her time and that she helped pave the way for women in the future to be taken seriously as viable Presidential candidates.
Like you, I hope she does some good work for others now. She has in the past and I expect she will continue along that same path.

shrug. It was a different vibe... what do you think he's going to do? Quit?

I wish he'd quit, but I just expect a nasty tweet about a fake picture.
And yeah, I am enjoying those images.
