These people seem to forget that Clinton and Obama said the same things as Trump is saying and DOING. As it turns out these same exact policies and words were said "way back" when Vietnamese refugees were being brought into the country.

How can CA withhold funds from the US? All income taxes are filed by individuals or businesses directly with the Federal government. If they fail to pay they'll be prosecuted and could go to jail. There's no way this can work.

According to the IRS: Separate accounting when deposits aren't made or withheld taxes aren't paid.Separate accounting may be required if you don't pay over withheld employee social security, Medicare, or income taxes; deposit required taxes; make required payments; or file tax returns. The state can literally mandate employers to remit federal taxes to the California Franchise Tax Board instead of the US treasury where it would be held in trust until the governor orders the money transferred.
Then the IRS could take it up with Sacramento.

You forget that the IRS can seize any bank account AND property. Try withdrawing money when your accounts are frozen and transferred to the IRS.
Companies accounts FROZEN, states accounts FROZEN so yeah, give it a whirl and see how that plays out...
