As far as I know Obama is no longer President, perhaps it would make more sense to talk about what is happening today under our new President?
You can't discuss what is going on today unless you understand all the reasons behind it. None of this would be happening if Obama would have been the president he said he was going to be and we don't have Trump.

And another reason Saudi Arabia isn't on the Obama Administration's list: The Clinton Foundation was receiving tens of millions of dollars from the Saudis. Pay to play.

I have no desire to try and defend Trump. I wish Obama had been the person he said he was going to be. I was warning about what was going to happen because no one was holding him accountable for anything.
That is correct. It is also true that having a Green Card is not an automatic re-entry pass to get back into the US from travel abroad. I'm shocked at how many people don't realize any of this. The risks are known. In advance. Same as with illegal aliens present in the US. Then they whine and complain when the known possible consequences of their actions actually happen.
You can't fix stupid, but you can fix ignorant. Everyone in such a situation should educate themselves thoroughly on the risks they're accepting by committing their own actions.
Green Card holders have an expectation that unless they've not complied with the conditions of reentry, that they'll be admitted.
Otherwise the program in all practicality wouldn't work at all.
It says right there on the USCIS.gov site that green card holders can travel freely internationally.
