Warren wasn't telling the truth. She was just spinning.

Sessions has the support of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and plenty of blacks in Alabama.

The democrats have 48 members. So 5 didn't vote for her.

It was not along party lines.

[quote=don1945;47120765]I hope your comment was meant to be humorous and nothing more. Otherwise, 'Doc", it shows a complete lack of concern for the Democratic process and freedom of speech. If a Senator or Congressman is silenced, what chance do you or I have ?

This new administration would love nothing better than to control every word that is spoken in America. No criticism of the new leader, no discussions about anything they do wrong, and, of course, we must silence those damn news people ! When I see things like this, something someone wrote a long time ago comes to mind:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

This^^^^^ is why so many of us are speaking out right now. We are not going to let them come for you.
[/QUOT

This^^^^

Why are Democrats the ones who are able to articulate their arguments and the Conservatives come back with "but we won".

I feel sorry for the conservatives you have transformed from ignorant voters to just plain stupid supporters.

God will punish you.

Of course, no cowardly, hypocritical Trump supporter would EVER use racial slurs or call names, hurl insults, etc. So.good to know they will always rise above that sort of thing.

Hypocrites.
I call them out on it all the time.

Those in glass houses.........

Ummm Trump won the election. Remember? Did Obama not push his agenda? You seem to forget his simple statement when confronted with a little opposition; "I won."

"America's voice" is behind Trump. He is doing what we elected him to do. He needs to have his people in place, and Jeff Sessions is an excellent choice. Warren is trying to smear him, which is what Democrats always do. Brings to mind what they tried to do to Clarence Thomas, and what they did to Robert Bork, and many others, even Donald Trump himself, all during the campaign. Lie and smear. They have no shame, and Dizzy Lizzy Warren (the fake Indian) is one of their favorite ankle biters, along with Nancy Pelosi in the House.

Why should I believe you?

Do you have a picture of the run-down trailer park -- or tar-paper-and-tin-roofed shack -- she grew up in?
