Three hours of raw footage of Berkley. Leftists carrying communist flags, burning American flags, and initiating violence against Trump supporters in efforts to keep them quiet. The police were largely ineffective.
With the media thing, I don't totally agree that the issue is the "liberal" part. There is a liberal bias in much of the media, and for many that's a problem, but I think the more universal problem (since that bias affects liberals less, though it does have a negative affect on them as living in a bubble would anyone) is that it's sensational. This leads it to being disconnected, rushed, and non-impactful.
I was listening to a podcast the other day, because I'm a millennial and I listen to podcasts (and drink craft beer and coffee like a tool), and a journalists from snapchat (that's at thing... I'm a millennial and I genuinely had no idea) was saying the big issue with media right now is that journalism almost can't happen. A fluff piece and a massive investigative journalism may have the same shelf life. From the perspective of business, why invest in big investigative projects if there's no major pay off?
What's more, local cable news and newspapers will spend unnecessary time talking about a plane crash in Yemen or something. That's important, I guess, but if I living in Denver, why do I care what's happening in Yemen. Leave that to CNN; channel 8 in Denver should be telling me about stuff happening in Denver and Colorado and spend less time looking at global and national news. But when they don't, it makes people feel disconnected from politics.
We're having a respectful discourse and I think it's clear we probably disagree on a fair amount of things. But we can reach an agreement in saying the media is doing a crap job right now.
We are agreeing. Unfortunately there are people who for different reasons buy the hateful rhetoric. Who does the media work for anyway? Are they the 4th estate or are they working for the corporation that signs their paycheck?
The media tells people I believe this and that and I have to laugh because .. well ..that's news to me. I didn't know I thought that and thank you for letting me know <sarcasm>. So what are we today, Nazi's, Fascist?. I don't know, it's hard to keep up.
In truth, I'm an American woman who yes, voted for Trump because I believed he could institute policies that would make way for the American people, no hate involved, no wanting to put people back in chains, And yes if gay, I wish you true love, to me, if your happy and not hurting anyone what more can we ask for right? But according to liberal media ....
I'm thankful that I live in a country where I had the freedom of choice, were the man in my life (also conservative) respects women. In Socialist countries, you die in the same class you were born in. In the U.S. I was able to raise my standard of living from just above the poverty line to upper class. Was it hard work, oh hell yea, but I came up with an idea, took a risk and borrowed money, and worked long hours and worked my tail off to "build that" from the ground up. I'm not saying that people making less money don't also work their tail off, they do, but just like me, who was in the same situation realized doing more of the same was going to lead to more of the same. Change what your doing and that's what I did and I succeeded.
I wish this for other hard working Americans who just want to work and provide their families a reasonable standard of living. Do some people need help, yep, but you can't hand or legislate prosperity. Do I wish that people in other countries did better too. Of course, but we can not be expected to take care of the world and help our own too. It's too big a burden. Nor should we be expected to. If that makes me a bad person so be it.

No the point of the rallies are to publicly display one's support for Donald Trump as President. The true "polls" not reported by CNN et al.
Things didn't get violent until the left started disrupting, throwing/yelling things, and getting violent.
Just view the clips it's all there. The evidence mounts as I've posted a number of different rallies held yesterday.
So in your perspective, only anti-Trump people can rally and exercise their right to freedom of speech and assembly?
All of these videos demonstrated all Trump supporters were doing was publicly displaying their support for Trump.
If the left doesn't like that, then they have the responsibility to act like adults..
They didn't. So basically according to your perspective, there would be peace if Trump supporters would cower in fear to the threats of anti-Trump protestors and stayed inside because they don't want the liberals to get violent?
