Wrong. And this is a Fed Gov source. The annual income cut-iff for Medicaid eligibility in TX for a household of 3 is $39,917.

And those covered are:

"In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Texas, a U.S. national, citizen, permanent resident, or legal alien, in need of health care/insurance assistance, whose financial situation would be characterized as low income or very low income. You must also be either pregnant, a parent or relative caretaker of a dependent child(ren) under age 19..."

https://www.benefits.gov/benefits/benefit-details/1640

You've lied so much that NO ONE can believe a word you say.

That's not what I said. And Medicaid IS in fact available to a single adult in the US, and you know it.

Stop with your lies after lies and then even more lies.

BS. I already posted the Swedish taxing authority website disputing your lies. Neither payroll nor property tax were included in that, either. It was ONLY income tax.

Stop continuously lying about everything.

You just said that single people in Texas get Medicaid. That was simply wrong (or a lie as you would claim) And you claim other people are LYING?

The Kaiser Foundation link says that the cut-off for children in a family of 3 to get Medicaid is $40 000 in Texas. For parents, its $3800 unless the parent is pregnant.

Where Are States Today? Medicaid and CHIP Eligibility Levels for Children, Pregnant Women, and Adults | The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation

This government link says the same: https://yourtexasbenefits.hhsc.texas...s-and-families

The Medicaid system is not as generous as you think it is.

Single mother with two children. $35,000 income = Medicaid eligibility.

The tax calculator says the effective tax rate is what I say it is. You dont dispute anything. Just rant. Payroll taxes are included in the tax calculator. Property taxes are very low in Sweden compared to America because schools are funded through income and VAT not property taxes.

Where is the 25% VAT, etc., included. It's not.

Stop your incessant lying.

The expansion allowed poor single adults to qualify, who had previously been shut out.

Single people with no children get no Medicaid in Texas. Why do you dispute that? Just admit you were wrong and move on. Regarding a family of 3 in Texas:

Maximum monthly income limit for an adult caring for a child: $230

https://yourtexasbenefits.hhsc.texas...s-and-families

Looks like you've just misunderstood things again. The child gets Medicaid up to $40 000, but parents dont unless pregnant. Thats the smell of freedom.

Now you're just getting desperate because you've been schooled and dont know what you're talking about. I never said VAT was included. But payroll, federal and local income taxes are included in the tax calculator and shows a typical effective rate people at that income level pay.
