Sorry but childish insults don't add anything to this, they just say what sort of person you are. That's it.
Folks, our free press is one of the things that made America great. Trump isn't making us great, he's making us look like a banana republic while people like Volvo driver here cheer him on.
So why is everybody screaming and yelling and frothing at the mouth? (By "everybody" I mean the knee-jerk Leftists...)
Is this the first time an American President has held a meeting where the Leftist MSM wasn't present?
The point is that the American press is, by and large, necessary for a transparent and accountable government. That is why this was important enough to become the FIRST AMENDMENT of our Constitution.
You can play the snarky "lamestream media" game, but ultimately the ability to have a say and hold authority to account is what separates us from places like North Korea.
So if you're an American and have any appreciation for your rights and privileges as an American, you damn well should be concerned when Trump shuts down the press from key meetings but let's Russian press in.

Does the First Amendment require Leftist Mainstream Media Shills to be present at every single meeting of every single government official?
Yes, exclude the American press, but let in the Russian press, because they are so much better behaved. They are good little trained seals who will write their propaganda pieces exactly as their dictators demand. They don't dare to do otherwise. They won't raise any questions because their lives depend on being obedient. And that's what you consider admirable?
The Constitution mandates freedom of the press. But hey, who needs that stupid Constitution anyway, right? Trump sure doesn't seem to.
Who cares what the Russians write?
I'm sure if Trump disagrees with it he will rebut it himself and does not need the media to rebut it for him.
Doesn't take much brain power to know what went on in the meeting.
The Russian ambassador and Trump himself pretty much summed up what any rational person would already know.
It was a diplomatic first meeting to lay ground work for future relationships. More a social visit than anything substantive other than raising concerns of both countries and expressions of intentions to find practical solutions both countries can agree to or not. Big whoop.
Freedom of the press does not give the press unfettered access to the President or the White House.
And, look what happened when the press was at State when Tillerson and the Russian Ambassador spoke briefly. The silly American press screamed out questions about Comey. Seems like they have no pertinent questions to ask re a meeting with Russian officials. So why have them there to derail the meeting?
