Sadly, it's Germany's Angela Merkel who is now steadfastly the real leader of the free world. That's how far into dictator-friendly territory trump has sunk us in terms of his early comments & endeavors in the realm of foreign policy. And how many of our long time allies has he or his administration already needlessly insulted or picked a fight with in less than 4 months?

That's why I feel badly for him. McMasters was a well-respected and highly decorated wartime general. And he is being forced to be a puppet and help cover for Trump's lies.
Should we feel bad for him though? Was it really that hard to figure out that Trump's administration would be one catastrophe after another? This could all be seen coming from the other side of the universe. He chose to be a member of this administration, and should've known better. I don't feel bad or him at all.
