Do you think there will be a tipping point in the Media and how they write articles and what they report on?
Where they will crash and wake up.
So. it can go back to good ole fashion real journalism.
Where reporters research, get the facts, and then report it without bias and shock value.
Do you think most Americans will stand up and have enough, so the Media has to change?
What will it take?
I don't care whether you are Dem, middle, or Rep, left or right.
How can all not see this.
In my opinion the media has become bias.
They try to have an agenda and sway people.
Some write stories and articles and get on TV without even researching the topic they are reporting.
They get wind of something and go with it and put in the fear and mongering factor.
They use their feelings and assumptions instead of facts.
I think they've already passed the point of no return. I don't think there's any amount of about face that they could do to regain the trust of the people. Leftists will slobber over everything they say, and that is enough to keep them profitable. That's all that matters. With few exceptions, conservatives and red states are a non-factor to today's mainstream and cable news outlets.
Unlikely..... Firstly who in their right mind with any intelligence would pick news reporter as a profession? I often find myself wondering if it's bias or are they just complete imbeciles.
Secondly news is a business and the fact is sensational headlines sells regardless of whether it's important or has substance.

I sometimes think its past the point of no return.
But generally the scale tips back to balance.
I hope it does.
Fox News demonstrated that there is money to be made in conspiracy theories and slanted "news,: Breitbart, InfoWars, ... have made it clear that balanced and honest is for chumps.
Republicans have used everything from gerrymandering and voter suppression to spreading outright lies about Democrats. Do you see Republicans switching strategies?
Seems that anything that isn't right-wing accusations and insults is labeled left-wing propaganda, so why not go for it? Beat them at them own game.
I don't see the media world going back to the way it was before Fox News, Breitbart, InfoWars...

Really, what happened to FOX, didn't you guys claim they were the No.1 Cable news station for the longest time, they are No.3 now, but no matter. Hate to burst your bubble but the right wing "news" sources are no more trustworthy than the left wing "news", one has to do their own homework to actually get the full story.

I didn't live back then, but I envision years ago a reporter grabbed his pad and pen and went to the scene, saw it first hand. Interviewed people first hand ,took notes went back and wrote a newspaper article.
Might be a neat job.
Now it's off the cuff and assumptions for most of them. Lacking integrity.
I sure hope so. the fake news outlets like Fox, Breitbart, and Infowars need to raise their standards and report real facts or just go away.
