On top of that, the reporting on InfoWars seems to serve no purpose but to fan the flames of polarization and division in this country and promote hatred between ideologies.

Yet, many people trust Alex Jones and InfoWars to provide accurate reporting on events. It shapes their worldview and their reality and our entire country is worse off for it. Why?
Same reason as why so many people trust the Democrat party.

It takes this level of "critical thinking" to have people who support Alex Jones.

Even in comparison to your usual posts, this is ridiculous.

Is he on TV now?

Quite frankly, I'd put it down to that on the radio, he has a nice voice.

Face it, if one likes the tone they hear on the radio, they can imagine any face they like to match that voice..................

..................it is when we find out what they really look like that things begin to tank.

NOW, as things go with so many people delivering only one side of affairs, I tend not to believe anyone I hear these days since so often it has to be checked out.

I think appearance (and sound of voice) play a part in our opinions of people, but they only go so far.

If I were driving and this came on, I don't give a flying **** how good his voice sounds. My first thought would be "this man is not to be trusted."

True. It takes a more special level of "critical thinking " to support the Democrats.

Loose Change was what made him popular outside of the Austin radio market. Then FEMA death camps. Neither are exactly partisan although the death camp conspiracy panders more to the white separatist survivalist mindset which mostly isn't Democrats.

Well, as that I don't watch TV, I didn't know.

I think it was about the time of the Customs and the toy guns, don't quite recall what was actually what in that, that I stopped listening to him.

Mind you, I hate Talk Radio anyhow and I only came across him in passing up and down the dial.

BUT.......it falls into the classic scenario, the nice voice bit. Ie, this......

Romana (I): But he had such an honest face.
The Doctor: Romana, you can't be a good crook with a dishonest face, can you?
(from Doctor Who, The Ribos Operation)
