Well, in fairness, there are people who like the Alex Jones character. Crazy and upset describes a fair amount of people. I mean, there are a lot of people who believe crazy ****. If you already think the government is poisoning the air with chemtrails, a man ranting about child sex trafficking in a pizza shop or the frogs being made gay or whatever... Jones will make sense.

The problem I always have with conspiracy theories is their tendency to rapidly get out of hand. It's fun to toy with the idea of some of them. It starts out extremely abstract and just for fun, like the government hiding aliens, then it turns more sinister with 9/11 being an inside job, and before you know it, wifi causes cancer on purpose or soemthing to that effect.

Everyone that I know personally whom I've known for a while who likes the Alex Jones stuff starts out small. The funny conspiracies. Before long, they think Hershey's is trying to kill you. And people like Jones just make it worse by constantly pandering to that crowd.

No, I don't think I did. I honestly don't think you understand why I called that comment ridiculous.

You only hate him, because he is effective.

The Dems need someone like Alex, promoting their hate and have 80 million unique viewers a week from all over the world.

I never liked him, I heard of him on the Young Turks years ago, and they pointed out what a loon he was then (I'm talking Obama's first term here, so the Cheeto wasn't even an issue yet)
