It is a shame, because it is beautiful, and was once part of America. Not anymore.
Who's Moonbeam? Edmund Brown is the governor of California.....

Here's a better idea: How about if you just stay out of California?

Most of the states with the highest GSP (gross state product) per capita are states that voted for Clinton. Most of the states at the bottom of the list voted for Trump.

That should tell you something.

I feel sorry for Texas. They got businesses in California to move to Texas and then unfortunately, the liberals came with them.

Well, educated people tend to be on the liberal side. Conservatism these days seems to attract the dumb and ignorant. A list of the 10 best educated states shows that every single of them is a "blue state".

The least educated states are all "red states".

Congratulations, Red State America. You're the least educated people in the country.

And why do you care? What connection, other than 'political agreement with 'the majority' do you have to California? I don't remember your posting that you have ever lived there. Aren't you an Arizona native with Detroit roots, who has also lived in Europe, and now lives in Arizona again? No one is forcing you to read this thread.

Those of us who are natives have more justification to put in our two cents toward an infinitesimal at best nudge toward what we see as sanity re California, than you do to resist same as a non native and a non resident.
Whether or not I've lived in California is irrelevant. Maybe California would be a lot nicer if you left. Ever thought about that?

25 billion? Haha... you really think that is all it will cost?

What I am sure of is the common sense tech gurus would pack up and move east and the liberal morons would be busy celebrating with their new Mexican compatriots and hopefully get trapped on the Mexican side of the wall.

I wouldn't be soooo sure about that. Many of these tech gurus are very very liberal. At best they would move like you said eastward and bring their philosophies with them and in a few years you would demand "insert random state in the east where said tech gurus moved to" to be walled up or given to Mexico.

California is the economic engine of the country. The U.S. would be a toilet without California (and New York, Massachusetts and a few other rich places).

How about we build a wall around the poor, welfare-addicted states that gave us the Trump nightmare, so all the wealthy, prosperous states can go about their business? Places like CA and NY will happily take all your immigrants and educated people, while you can keep the trailer parks and racist crazies.

Liberal until threatened with losing their American citizenship and their bankroll. Then see how liberal they are.

Being a liberal automatically ensures a certain level of hypocrisy. There is no avoiding it.
