We all vote our self-interest. What do you think "It's the economy stupid" means? Vote your wallet? Do you think our corporate overlords care about anything but themselves? Greed is good my friend. Greed is the only reason America exists.
The people voting for their race are infinitely more intelligent than those who vote against their own race.
They don't vote for democrats because of immigration. They vote for democrats for the privileges/protections the democrats promise them and because they hate whitey.
Do you know anything about evolution? The reason humans are tribal is because for millions of years of evolution they lived in tribes that consisted purely of extended-family. Tribalism is an outgrowth of kinship. And racism is a kind of extension or proxy of kinship.
It's all about "us" and "them". In-group vs out-group. Coalitions. Allies. Etc. At its root it is about survival. People who are tribal, live. People who aren't, die out. And that dynamic is just as true today as it was ten thousand years ago.
Tribalism is so powerful that every government devotes most of their time either exploiting it for control, or suppressing it to prevent civil war. And unlike what the liars claim, tribalism/racism isn't taught. It exists literally everywhere on Earth. It is a human universal. Only in western countries do people pretend that tribalism is some kind of an aberration.
Which begs the question, what is their motivation for repeating nonsense? What do they hope to gain? Or what are they afraid to lose?
Speak for yourself! I am not tribal based on what race I am and so do many other Americans feel that way. It's racist in nature, IMO to be tribal. But that makes someone more intelligent to vote based on their race? Huh?
I vote based on policy not party, not race and not self-interests.
Many minorities do vote for the Democrats because of their loose "immigration" policies because they have family here illegally (self interest again) along with their believing the lies that the Republicans are racists in nature and they like the socialism of the Democrats (self interest again) but not in the best interests of the country as a whole.
We are no longer cave men fighting for survival against one another. We are a modern society that has become aware that we can only survive by supporting one another rather than just our own race at least that's true of many of us who don't believe in tribalism.
What repeated nonsense? Who is they that hopes to gain and are afraid of losing? What does that have to do with those of us who care about society as a whole? What does your video about Wall Street have to do with the common American?
I should have added the caveat, "if all other things are equal".
I was talking to a friend the other day about how when I watch fight videos on 4chan, I can't help but instinctively root for one side or the other based on cursory assumptions.
But then I said, it's funny because when it is the police vs a black guy, I root for the black guy, because I hate the police. You could tell me the black guy just raped a white woman and I would still root against the police.
Why do you hate the police in general? There are bad cops but most of them are not and without them there would be chaos in our society. You can't be serious with your last sentence. Holy crap!

You vote for policies that benefit you, and so does everyone else. You can pretend they are "good for the country" or "good for society", but if they didn't benefit you, you would not support them, period.

These two ideas are not necessarily contradictory. The United States, just like very country, is fighting for survival against China, Russia, etc. The reason governments suppress tribalism is because powerful states require the cooperation of millions if not billions of people. If the government didn't suppress tribalism and integrate/assimilate/amalgamate the population, our country would fall apart.

2) There are no such thing as good cops.

Black people who believe in the "rainbow coalition" bull**** are fools. None of these "people of color" groups ever advocated for black people before civil rights. They were all considered white, and were saying that they were white.
The generation of Texans that remember when a Mexican was white is still around.
