Like you would know??? If there is a reason for his change it might have to do with his cancer diagnosis.

When Ike gave that speech about military industrial complex - McCain was exactly one of the people he had in mind.

By the way --- Smedley Butler and Dan Daly are the definition of war heroes. McCain couldn't lick the spit off their boots.

Actually, I suspect Ike had people like Bush, Cheney and Rumsfield in mind

McCain's recent statements on why he opposes Graham Cassidy can be summed up as: the bill's been through nothing that even resembles a debate process and healthcare requires a bipartisan solution.

What an evil man....

Voting his conscience means that he's one of the few republicans who still has one.

It is ironic that people who are so willing to send troops into any country to promote democracy have impugned the intentions of John McCain who only insist that we adhere to those very values and procedures that we claim are the corner stone of democracy.

Republicans are still smarting from being blindsided by the ACA passing. Now they want to see if they can do it too. The difference is the Democratic Party was unified and many democrats fell on their swords for the president back then. Republicans have neither of those attributes today. Washington needs to be purged of legislators who don’t want “regular order.”
