Herein lies the problem, Kelly is lecturing us on the demise of respect, religion and treatment of women yet he works for a man that disrespects women, other religions and hasn't thought once of self sacrifice. Do you see the hypocrisy? Not to mention Kelly goes on the demobilize a woman in the rest of his speech, parts of which were untrue.
That's why I thought it was coded message from a man who is scrambling to keep his job.
How could he not realize he was defending a man who disrespects women, runs down religions, and doesn't know the meaning of self-sacrifice?

Serving as chief of staff, he's doing his best to tamp down the chaos in the WH, but finding that he's fighting a losing battle. He clearly knows what despicable clod tRump is, but in his position he can't openly say it of refer to it. Despite his best efforts, the guy he's serving is damaging the presidency and the USA.

Right! I actually was up in the air until McCain picked Pinhead Palin as his vp. No way that moron could be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Although, we no longer have to wonder what a Palin administration would look like, we have one now.
My impression was of someone who yes, was frustrated with his boss’s handling of the situation but was also just as frustrated with the politcalization of it all, congresswoman included. Did you see the press conference? He coached Trump on what he thought he should say.
Who you want to hear from in those first few weeks of raw grief are those who knew your husband, who loved him, who will assure you that his memory will live on even though he's gone.
The last person you want to hear from is a stranger calling him "your guy" and saying that it was his own fault, he knew what he was doing when signed up for this.
Unfortunately this is yet another example of Mr. Trump being entirely unfit for the position. Mr. Kelly likely believed it wasn't necessary to advise not to refer to Sgt. La David Johnson as 'your guy' when speaking to his family members. Folks seem to overestimate his competence in most areas, this is just a particularly horrible example.
Additionally, Mr. Trump could, today, attempt to apologize to Sgt. La David Johnson's family members for inadvertently 'saying the wrong thing'. Instead, he blames others. He continues to be divisive even when it would be better, healthier for everyone, & would encourage healing, to instead attempt reconciliation. Stubbornly seeming to insist on 'making a bad situation that much worse' does not demonstrate good judgment, it does appear to be what will end up being a significant part of his legacy as POTUS.
As a sign of respect, when we talk about Sgt. La David Johnson let's use his name shall we.
He wasn't just a soldier or a guy, Sgt. La David Johnson was a husband, a father, a son, the "Wheelie King," beloved in his hometown and by the men he served with who described him as always trying to do better today than he did yesterday.
Is it OK if we also recognize the other 3 fallen soldiers? or is it only 'proper' to and 'respectful' to talk about Sgt. La David Johnson? There were 4 Soldiers killed in action, there were 4 condolence calls from the President and 4 Notification officers assigned to 4 families.
Is it OK with you and the Leftists if we use 4 names and not just ONE name?
