Some of you guys sound dismayed at the little market drop this morning. It's just barely over 1%. If that scares you, I assume you do not participate in the markets, and you shouldn't. The predictions last week were for a 5-10% correction. Will we get there? I hope so. If you don't understand why someone would say that, it's probably best that you stay away from the markets.

Typed in stock market correction and nothing came up from last week.
And you know I agree -- it's not a huge downward trend and hopefully it won't be but it is less about the amount and more about the trend itself.
Whenever Trump brings up trade with China the stock market reacts -- and not in a positive way.
Trade deficit with China grew in 2018. Guess tariffs aren't really doing any good.
Still not as much as Trump claims it to be -- but getting closer
(Trump claims a 500 billion trade deficit with China --- last year was the closet to that made up number -- 429 billion last year.....)
In fact, Trump is breaking records in trade deficit over all -- which indicates his trade policies are failing.
The U.S. Census Bureau reported that the U.S. goods trade deficit reached a record of $891.3 billion in 2018, an increase of $83.8 billion (10.4 percent)
If only Trump would let the free market rule....we'd be doing twice as good as we are!
The guy knows how to make good things bad and great things neutral.
