What good's the stupid wall since US employers will continue to bus in workers for their cheap labor? That's how many get here, especially in states far from the southern border. This is all hype and nonsense. Big on talk and idealism, absent of logic and sense.

Dig a hole! Apparently you never dug a real hole in your life...

The people who overstayed? Haiti was banned from coming over for that reason.. seems like a good idea to fix a problem...
Ladder to climb up, rope, or one of those fire escape ladders to get down. Coyotes can leave one guy behind to pull up the rope and haul off the ladder.

This is such a funny thread.
You forget. Cheap gov't contractors. Using cheapest materials known. Likely be able to poke holes thru it with your fist.

I'm not opposed to a wall if it makes you dumb a**es sleep well at night & then can't explain why we still have illegals getting in.
Start jailing every American employer who hires illegals and you will see border crossings disappear quickly.
By the way Obama has deported more illegals than any other President hence why border crossing are down.

Did you post anything about Mexico paying for the wall as your beloved leader promised? I must have missed that.

Mexico will pay through tariffs/taxes when they use the big beautiful door. Also on the table is taxing the outgoing US dollars sent by Mexicans in the US to Mexico, a total of $26 billion in 2016. Add the $117 billion a year that illegal aliens cost, and securing the border starts to look like a bargain. Or, http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2956641

Taxing the goods would also help Americans producing the same goods be more competitive keeping US dollars in our country.

The federal government has the job of keeping our borders secure.
Your posts continue to be consistent. Unfortunately they are consistently wrong. And the worst part is that the people writing then know it.

And any tariffs paid by the Mexicans will simply be passed on to the us customer.

And if there should be an attempt to tax Mexican remittances they will simply vanish to the grey market.

And the 117 billion is utter balderdash that has been repeatedly refuted.

Take it or leave it. Be amused by it or be insulted by it. I can't control your response to what I wrote, but for the record what I wrote could appropriately be referred to as "Light Hearted Banter".

Translation - I was making a funny.

Or at least.......attempting to.

Will wait for answer.
The answer is simple and you should know it. Nothing is fool proof, but having to lug a huge ladder or dig tunnels deters all but the most determined. So large numbers will not come in as a result, which is especially true of young children and pregnant women looking to drop anchor babies.

Your false equivalency implies that if we have a ship at sea and there is a giant hole where most of the water is coming in, we shouldn't fix the hole because of other places we have leaks. Obviously if you do not take care of the biggest problem first, the ship will sink. However once the major means of water intrusion is mostly fixed, then you move on to fixing the smaller problems.

So I cannot tell if liberals are being intentionally obtuse, or just lack logical thinking.
