Mexico will pay through tariffs/taxes when they use the big beautiful door. Also on the table is taxing the outgoing US dollars sent by Mexicans in the US to Mexico, a total of $26 billion in 2016. Add the $117 billion a year that illegal aliens cost, and securing the border starts to look like a bargain. Or, http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2956641

Taxing the goods would also help Americans producing the same goods be more competitive keeping US dollars in our country.

The federal government has the job of keeping our borders secure.
Are you serous?

Hmmm, a 30 foot high wall a foot thick thru miles and miles of isolated areas. What could possibly go wrong that a few sticks of dynamite couldn't fix?

And what about farmers and ranchers that depend on the rio grand for water? Can't build a wall in the river, can't build it on the Mexico side. So they will be cut off from their water supply.

Making Americans pay more for their produce is how you define "making Mexico pay for the wall". Yep, you're a Trump voter.

Ever been in the service? If an officer makes promises of liquor, bottles of, for the drinking of same, and women, willing, for the making of love to - there's a 100% certainty that what you're about to do is going to be the worst, most crappy detail ever.

Will wait for answer.
Have you climbed a 30 ft ladder, then flip it to the other side, and climb down... do you know how heavy a 30 ft ladder is? It WILL stop 99% of people, the other one percent will take so long that the border agent will be waiting for them...

Dig a hole! Apparently you never dug a real hole in your life...

The people who overstayed? Haiti was banned from coming over for that reason.. seems like a good idea to fix a problem...

Ah, just blow the wall up in a few isolated spots. Much better solution and besides, it'd take congress a year or so to allocate funds to repair it, meanwhile ...

Why do people have walls around their homes and businesses then if they aren't a deterrant? Surely you know that it keeps out most unwanted entry, don't you?
Not many people from Mexico gain entry to the US via commercial airlines but we have people from all over the world who do. The numbers in this chart are from 2015, DHS stated that there were 527,127 overstays in 2015 and 739,478 in 2016

Yeah, because women and children wanting to cross the border will be carrying dynamite, LOl. Even so, dynamite has to be set up in a way (hole drilled into the concrete) to be effective. Dynamite thrown against or duct tape to the wall isn't going do squat but make a loud noise. So, now we need some portable drilling equipment and enough sticks of dynamite.

This is such a funny thread.
