Might it be because the reinforcements at the border are actually working? Or do you think Pablo & Co. just wanted to play "Capitan Nemo"?
The submersibles are an oddity. Most drugs are smuggled through regular old-school border crossings in cars or tractor trailers. Y'know, the border crossings that the marvelous, marvelous wall would do nothing to close off.

The oddball smuggling attempts - catapults, ultralights, model trains through gopher tunnels - pop up because people are afraid to step on the cartels' turf. If you start free-lancing drug smuggling though El Paso, the Sinaloa Cartel is likely to get very upset.

But as for border walls, 18-wheelers don't care, now or in the future. The wall is perfectly irrelevant for the majority of the drugs delivered to US consumers.

well I am sure you are smart enough to answer your own question, but when it comes to illegal aliens I'd rather be rid of the drug dealers, before farm workers.

Maybe because for the most part they aren't hispanic?

Israel has made great strides in tunnel technology. We've been working with them for years. Tunnels are becoming easy to detect.

People have been scaling walls built by others for thousands of years. This wall won't prove anymore effective.

lol. Only 2% of illegal aliens are doing farm work. How about those illegals who are using fake or stolen SS numbers or working for cash evading taxes and have taken a job that Americans have always done for a fair wage? Those are felonies. How about we get rid of the drug dealers and the rest of the illegal alien population? We can do both. It doesn't have to be a choice between the two.
