I can't disagree there... He's captured the "imagination" of millions of uneducated Americans.
As far as "taking over the national gun conversation," here's the BIG mistake the left is making on this issue... Tens of millions of American law-abiding citizens own guns, of all sorts. They're not only GOP voters, they're Dem and Ind voters, as well. If the left keeps pushing eliminating 2A Rights, they'll lose some Dem voters and many more Ind voters. How does that look in Federal elections?
I didn't say he convinced everybody. I said he (and Emma) is the ones controlling the conversation. That includes the one we are having.
If 3% of the population owns most of the guns, and over 60% are in favor of stronger gun controls, I'd say the odds favor getting some action on guns following the next couple of election cycles.
There is a lot of mentally disturbed people out there, you want to lock them all up? Can we read their minds before they think about committing a crime? Like the movie Minority Report?
If they are an imminent danger to themselves or others 100% yes. If committing people to get them the help that they need so they can be a functioning productive member of society is the only way and last resort 100% yes! It must be done. Only in the last resort. I can't stress that enough.
It's ok for hypocrites like Hogg to insult Republicans and old people, but the moment someone mentions his whining about not getting accepted to the UC system, he throws a hissy fit.
I have lost ALL respect for Ingraham for 'apologizing' (wasn't a real apology but anyways) to Hogg. Trump would NEVER have apologized to a hypocritical snob like Hogg. This guy has narcissism and arrogance written all over him and I forsee more news from him in the future as he tries to extend his 15 minutes of fame.
