This is from a U.N. “expert”?
Translated: a hyper-biased and partisan report from people who deeply hate Trump and republicans and will go to great lengths to scew facts and data to make them look as bad as possible while covering up the consequences of liberal policies and culture.
We can look at and blame many things such as drug use on the rising numbers of homeless but it is tough to blame Trump on this when unemployment rates across the spectrum are down.
I cannot consider the homeless problem say in California without considering their love for illegal aliens that costs that state a reported $25 Billion per year or $2370 per household. https://fairus.org/issue/publication...rnia-taxpayers
Imagine if the illegal aliens were cleared out and that $25 Billion could be put to use helping the homeless?
The Democrats of California do not care about the homeless but they sure want to help the illegal aliens.
Why?
Truth! ^^^
Everything is somehow Trump's fault. In my opinion, one of the considerations of MAGA is the concept of self-sufficiency coupled with putting people back to work. Time to get on board the Trump train or be left standing on the platform wondering why you're living out of a shopping cart.

So you're saying that you would go to a Democratic place just because it's Democratic and not consider where you're best opportunity was?
I hope that thinking cap comes in an adjustable size.
Exactly what kind of opportunities do you believe would be available for those with serious and persistent mental health issues, PTSD, significant physical and cognitive disabilities, ...
This is the same old soft commie propaganda from the Far Left UN that has come under every administration, to include that of Obama and before. Nothing is good enough. There is no appeasing them.
Tell me, if poverty is worsening and deepening, how does that not invalidate the conflicting UN call for increased migration that will further dilute the labor pool, suppress wages, and increase the poverty rate?
The answer is that this contradiction doesn't matter because their goal isn't to end poverty.
Their goal is to both increase the labor pool and suppress wages via immigration, and thus suppress the ability to advance to the middle class.
At the same time encouraging a culturally supressive political environment by speciously shifting the power to the ever impoverished proletariat (thus enabling political suppression and elimination of the middle class).
That's what this conflicting "poverty" agitation implies.
The same exact process occurred in the Soviet Union, except without the increased mass immigration economic pressure. This is much worse and it instead involves the entirety of the West.
there is no proof presented for this assertion in the article or the original post. from the referenced article:
"....., the data from the U.S. Census Bureau he cited covers only the period through 2016, and he gave no comparative figures on the extent of poverty before and after Trump came into office in January 2017."
Stupidity (a/k/a Leftism) has its own consequences! The Trumpsters have their own blind spots, but they have little to do with this. We need to "sweep the streets" and deliver the truly dysfunctional to a place where they can't get out, and liquor, drugs, and Democrats can't get in. Then the problem can be cleaned up, with a strong hand, on a case-by-case basis,
"Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?"
