And did you know you're speaking to a Canadian (US-Cdn citizen)? So, please do not use your condescending, mock Southern tone with me. Thank you.
newdixiegirl who lives in Tennessee, eh?

I accept that I did make a mistake about the identity of Mike1003. I will now tell you that your attempt at correcting grammar is incorrect. Both ways are correct usage. The example in the image is awkward to many.

P.S. I spend half my time in Canada, and the other half in the deep south. I don't have to mock the usage from there, but I'm glad you caught some of the nuances.

You like to correct people, don't you? The problem, as I see it, is you don't take correction well. You corrected me for using Scotch-Irish. Did you check the History board, where I told you that you'd find a thread started by a guy from Northern Ireland? Did you google it, like I told you, because that would bring it up.

Just for the record, hon is not just used in the South.

Ah, there is the problem. Your from eastern Canada. (Yes, I know, I know, you think eastern Canada refers to the Maritimes.)

Proud Albertan here... you know, the place that Texas can't compete with. We have more oil, larger ranches, more cattle, and our women are way, way better looking. Tennessee is a beautiful State; I drive by the Lodge manufacturing plant on my way down south each year. In case other readers don't know, Lodge makes the best cast iron cookware available.

But we digress.
