In spite of this video, I think it is important for people who live in America to show allegiance towards the United States. There is too much divisiveness and disunity, such as sports players and the like who kneel during the national anthem. It is not good for this country.
If somebody is proud of displaying the flag of a foreign country, then maybe they should go live in that country.
Who cares what you think? You have zero right to define the right way to be an American for anyone but yourself. You also have zero right to say where American citizens can live or what they can wear or display. Your freedom to do those things does not mean you get to impinge upon anyone else’s freedom. Which part of that is so hard for you to understand?
People who really love freedoms protect it even when they disagree with how it is being used. Her wearing a Puerto Rico t shirt hurts no one. If you really loved America you should be first in line to defend her freedoms to wear it.
Puerto Rico is part of Latin America, in every way that matters.
It is culturally, linguistically, demographically and socioeconomically different from any state in the U.S.

Puerto Rican’s are American citizens by birth. It’s been that way since 1917. You’re 101 years too late to b**** about it. Natives of Puerto Rico, the American Virgin Islands, the Northern Marianas and Guam are all American citizens at birth. They could move to Orlando (for example) and immediately vote in state and federal elections. The only American territory where this does not apply is American Samoa.

The real issue isn’t what some drunk old bigot says, it is that the public servant sworn to serve and protect all Americans is literally doing nothing to protect this woman. Every single person should find that unacceptable. If you don’t find it unacceptable you should try to figure out why you think it’s ok for a police office to ignore someone literally asking for protection.

Petition a Congresscritter if you want new laws about how much patriotism citizens must show and how. I don't want to live in a place where I need to wear the American flag only or such and display fervent patriotism in that manner.

Do you feel that way about St Patrick's day too? Do all those Irish flags make American patriot's blood boil? I've never seen it, but then the Irish are white.
