Every single person should find that unacceptable. If you don’t find it unacceptable you should try to figure out why you think it’s ok for a police office to ignore someone literally asking for protection.
That was really bad. I wonder what he would have done had the situation escalated to physical violence. It could have, very easily.
Trump defending hate groups etc have a lot of people thinking that they can just walk up to anyone and say anything, treat them any way they want too. Even If Trump is against this kind of behavior (which I don't think he is.) In their eyes he's their hero because Trump does the same thing so if he can so can they. Trump has given them a voice and there is no stopping it now we have an immature child as president and we have immature people coming out of the closest, who have been holding their breath to cut loose.

These types of threads are so utterly predictable in the response of some.
Instead of addressing some very troubling issues besides this bigot's mouth, they'd rather obfuscate the thread with their nonsense about how people shouldn't be flying a foreign flag, blah blah blah. I seriously think some of the people on this forum troll these threads just to get a response. Pathetic, really.
Any sane person would realize that this officer was wrong in his inactions.
Do you feel that way about St Patrick's day too? Do all those Irish flags make American patriot's blood boil? I've never seen it, but then the Irish are white.
I believe it is divisive to display the flag of a foreign country or of a non-English speaking territory if you are living in the United States. (The exception would be of course some organizations like foreign embassies.)
This includes the Confederate flag. Very divisive and provocative. You shouldn’t live in America if you want to fly any foreign flag.
