A “stand-up federal judge”? This is completely laughable! How do you even know if he has problems with alcohol or has mental health issues?

Murkowski's speech is strained and even somewhat pained. It is not nearly as compelling as the speech earlier by Susan Collins.

Six, oh wait, no SEVEN background investigations. What have you got to back your assertion? A magic eight ball?

Yes, I'm listening. She's struggling, and her argument is weak.

It’s horrible and has poor structure. And her voting no reason is weak, weak, weak.

It would be funny if the GOP changed it back in 2024.

I don't know if you listened to Senator Collin's speech today ..... but she laid out his Judicial Record and the discussions she had with him about his cases ...... 3 hours of discussions about CASES.
I'm sure transcripts are available ..... and it's worth reading if you didn't hear it.

You are correct -- there is a reason that they went after the "gang rape, ice throwing, drinking beer in college", "sexual assault" ........ They could NOT go after his 12 years on the 4th Circuit Court OR his 307 Opinions on that court ...... his record was good, he has been an excellent and FAIR Judge.

They had to go the Character Assassination with totally unsubstantiated/uncollaborated allegations of heinous acts ...... That NEVER happened.

Yes it was. Many positions require more than one interview, especially if something comes up.

I mean who does that:

“So you’re saying there’s never been a case where you drank so much that you didn’t remember what happened the night before, or part of what happened?”

“You’re asking about, you know, blackout. I don’t know. Have you?”

“Could you answer the question, Judge? That’s not happened. Is that your answer?”

“Yeah, and I’m curious if you have.”

As I said, try something like this at a job interview, report back how soon you are shown the door.

Why in the hell would you want someone on the court who could change our whole society?
