Why do you people never put the blame on the parents that led their children to a place and attempted to illegally enter when this outcome was predictable? Any further aliens who bring their kids to this situation in the days ahead should be declared unfit parents and their custody terminated.

Seriously. I’ve avoided making any personal commentary in this thread, but the idea that troops went out of their way to chase down and pepper spray children is just so ludicrous and stupid that it couldn’t go without comment. People who think this way need sharp objects removed from their presence.
And yet this is exactly how the media is portraying it. The peace loving, hard working, poor “immigrants†(illegal aliens) who flee in terror with their babies while the horrid US monsters dare to impede their progress.
And the media wonders why many people view them as the enemy.

Profound point. When I was young my Dad old me about how "journalists" would stage photo ops in Viet Nam. A certain case he cited saw the photographer toss a handful of coins onto a garbage heap so as to induce a throng of kids to dig through the garbage portraying a scene that looked as if the kids were digging through the heap in search of something to eat.
Some "journalistic" tactics are pretty high smelling and low down.
Of course the photo is staged. Like I said in my previous post - the little girl is not holding her eyes, nor is her mother whose hands are full.
And the poster said they had gassed them.
Of course there will be children who are gassed. What do you think the border police should do when lawbreakers are thumbing their noses at the process to gain asylum?
Since this thread is about immigration I'll just stay with Honduras. The US took the president out in 2009 because he was doing a referendum to ask people if they wanted to change the constitution for re-election. 8 years later, the US backed puppet without even asking the citizens changed the constitution on his own, on top of that he openly stole the elections. What did the US do? It was the first country to congratulate the president. Why does the US support this kind of corruption? Because the president strongly supports privatization to foreign corporations and financial institutions at the cost of citizens' rights. This is what happens over and over all poor countries.
I want to add something else: those corrupt presidents keep repeating that privatization to foreign corporations will bring jobs and development. In reality all that happens is that prices continue to go up and no jobs. When an honest president is able to make it to the presidency and start to give back workers' rights, investing in industries to create jobs, etc. he is taken out. Competition is a threat to international corporations who counts on foreign governments that create the conditions for cheap labor, little to no tax, and multi-million dollars concessions for the extraction of raw materials.
A couple of days ago the brother (also politician) of Honduran president was arrested in Miami over drug trafficking charges. The US supports murderous regimes (Saudi Arabia for example) and corrupt, criminal governments FOR MONEY. Because they can exploit others people's right and resources through finances, foreign policies, and militarization. Illegal immigration wouldn't be a problem, without its obvious cause.
What kind of president sends his troops to bully small children with tear gas? And this could be a major turning-point in Trump's pretense at being a chief executive.
You dont know much about law enforcement tactics do you? Go look up the FBI tear gasing of the Branch Davidians. Men women and children. American men women and children. The police do not go around asking if there are children present when they use tear gas to break up riots, storm houses, etc etc. Maybe the parents should have thought about bringing their children to illegally cross a border. They didnt seem to care about the consequences.
Leftist organizers are using the migrants themselves as pawns They sent women and children as shock troops to storm the U.S. border, so as to make any U.S. response to border-storming appear 'heartless.'
It's all part of their propaganda warfare, and if they put women and kids in danger, well, from their perspective, it's just the cost of doing business. They're all expendable.

The U.S. is made, by the confrontational tactics of the caravan's organizers, to appear heartless regarding the Guatemalan-Honduran "caravan." This is obviously not my view but a description of other views on the topic.
This situation is not unlike the Gazan effort to swarm the Israeli border last spring. Same excrement, different day.
