Meanwhile migrant children who broke no laws are still locked up in internment camps in Texas away from their parents or any people why know. How is that humane?

You call a loss of jobs, reduced wages, added crime, overcrowded schools, jails, hospitals, roads and neighborhoods a small problem? Not to mention that illegal aliens cost us over $100 billion a year?

These greedy employers have no right to hire them and Trump and the GOP have been pushing e-verify for years while the Democrats opposed it. Why is that? Trump has also resumed the workplace raids that Obama stopped.

We don't jail parents with their kids, duh. These parents were told that if they entered our country illegally they would be incarcerated and separated from their kids but they did so anyway so just who's to blame here?

Your point is valid, that Dems have gone off the rails about immigration.

But I think Republicans should also admit that immigration overall is a fairly minor issue (much less urgent than, say, the economy or defense or environmental issues) that they've used to work their minions into a frenzy.

Republicans are laser-focused on immigration; but that does not mean everyone is.

That said, I like Beto O'Rourke's idea. Instead of spending all our money on middle-east never-ending WARS, why can't we help places like Guatemala to improve their infrastructure and THEIR economy so their people wont want to keep leaving to come here.

I like it.
Why would we throw this country's resources at a third world dump like Guatemala? Go to Baltimore, Chicago or Detroit and take a look at some people who could use the help.

It used to be that Democrats cared about American citizens. Now it's pretty clear that their priority is everyone who is NOT an American citizen.

Who says Dems don't care about Americans? Dems aren't the ones trying to screw healthcare for millions or talking about taking SS and Medicare and Medicaid. So get off your high horse.

Democrat "Reform"-Amnesty and even less enforcement than the minimal enforce we have now. So it's just even more open borders and amnesty.

Anytime a democrat speaks you have to consult the communist to plain English translation reference. It's getting old and pathetic.

They should not admit something that is entirely untrue. Immigration is completely economically, politically, socially, culturally, intellectually and aesthetically altering America.

Is that why our troops protect Afghanistan poppy fields?

Every Democrat I know wants the same security Republicans do. They also wants the hiring of illegals stopped.

When will the 11 million Visa overstayers be located and sent home?

All this brouhaha about illegal immigration is all manufactured, Republicans want cheap labor, bleeding hearts want to save the world. Meanwhile the USA congress who could fix this today, sits on their asses.

11 million visa over stayers? Where are you getting that number? At any rate, Trump is working on that problem and the border jumping problem also.

Um no, it's not only Republican business owners that hire cheap illegals. Bleeding hearts have no common sense or logic and it's usually used as an excuse to allow millions of poor foreigners to come here illegally. They don't have a brain in their heads all they have are emotions.

It's absolutely NOT a minor issue. I'm not sure where you're from but it's a major problem here in Texas. Illegal immigrants stealing identities, driving vehicles without licenses/insurance, causing crime. Just turn on the news here in Texas and you'll hear a story regarding illegal migrants every day.
