What, it is a huge win for Democrats.

Changed demographics is what gave the Dems a lock on power in California.........that tactic will eventually play-out across most of the USA.

The Republicans are in charge but it’s impossible with the Democraps acting as saboteurs just to see Trump fails.

In 50 years perhaps.

Red Belt margins are mostly very large. Rust Belt demographics are changing at far slower rate than the extreme example, Ca, you picked.

Waiting for demographics to wipe out wwc influence is Fools Gold.

In the interim, illegal aliens are largely responsible for 30 plus years each of SC associates Gorsuch & Ginsberg. In 2 years, our 45th POTUS shaped the court for the next 7 POTUS terms.

Keep waiting with your care package for your caravan, though.

Remember Trump saying he would sign any bipartisan solution to immigration then reneging on his promise. This is where we have been for decades all talk no action. Now they see a wall as a fail proof solution, they are misguided.

This whole show about the border isn't addressing the illegal immigration issue in our country.

Why hasn't Trump improved the e-verify process and penalized companies that hire illegals?

That would be a first step to reducing illegals.

Trump didn't say he'd sign a so-called bi-partisan solution that didn't include funding the wall, e-verify and another mass amnesty. The wall isn't a fail proof solution but it should be a part of the solution and no one has said otherwise. Stop making crap up!

Republicans are laser-focused on immigration; but that does not mean everyone is.

That said, I like Beto O'Rourke's idea. Instead of spending all our money on middle-east never-ending WARS, why can't we help places like Guatemala to improve their infrastructure and THEIR economy so their people wont want to keep leaving to come here.

I like it.
They have been trying that for years. The corruption is so bad that only the rich pocket the money there.
