At the first three, he found the places had armed guards, so he didn't stop, but drove away without harming anyone. Then he finally came to one that did not have armed guards. He stopped, got out, walked in, and shot five people.

How many of those people in Pittsburgh would be alive today if there had been guards?

Yes, it's sad that we seem to need armed guards in some places to safeguard our families, friends etc.

Does anybody have a better idea? One that works as well as this one did in Los Angeles in 1999?

Los Angeles Jewish Community Center shooting

The 1999 Los Angeles Jewish Community Center shooting occurred on August 10, 1999, at around 10:50 a.m. PT, when white supremacist Buford O. Furrow, Jr. walked into the lobby of the North Valley Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills and opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon, firing 70 shots into the complex. The gunfire wounded five people: three children, a teenage counselor, and an office worker. Shortly thereafter, Furrow murdered a mail carrier, fled the state, and finally surrendered to authorities.
(snip)
On August 7, Furrow bought a used red Chevrolet van in Tacoma, Washington and loaded it with five rifles, two pistols, 6,000 rounds of ammunition and a flak jacket. Furrow considered attacking three Jewish institutions: the Skirball Cultural Center, the American Jewish University and the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance, but security measures presented too much of a problem.
trump is a POS. People were murdered & that garbage pile spins it to blame it on the victims. What a disgusting deplorable. I look forward to the horrible karma coming his way.

But Donald Trump has done nothing to place armed teachers and workers in vulnerable locations.
Good luck repealing 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(25) and 18 U.S.C. § 922(q)
Those are laws, federal laws that ban firearms from school grounds.
Good luck with anti gun rinos and liberals screaming no.

False.
ACLU and NRA yes, you read that correctly, the ACLU. Sued Obamas administration for using social security as the arbitrator. It was unconstitutional. Per federal law, you must be adjudicated mentally defective to be banned from buying and owning a firearm in this nation. The social security administration, is not, a court of law.

Everything. Everything that gets proposed is shot down. Why? Suburban soccer mom's are vehement anti gun. If you're pro gun, you hate children. That's the mentality of the lemmings in this nation.
The liberal and their Rino cohorts are why nothing gets done.

Know why? Both try to control the narrative of firearms.
They're idiots. The whole lot of them. The firearm isn't what the focal point should be. Ever. It is three simple things.
1. Incentive
2. Motive
3. Intent.

Ban every gun you you want make criminals out of otherwise law abiding people.
You've done nothing but politicized the firearm. That's why nothing gets done. He who controls the narrative writes history and law. And unfortunately trying to convince mindless lemmings, is a lost cause but I'll still exchange and debate with them. Left or right. Especially fudds. Their naive if they don't think a rino won't roll over to appease a screeching liberal once their Thurdy Thurdy is labeled an "assault rifle" by the media, and their ought six is condemned as a long range high powered sniper rifle.

Want something done about it? Put me in congress, in the Senate in front of a microphone and give me half an hour in each house to lay it all out, definitions included, followed by time to debate the dinks left and right. You'll see something done about it. And it doesn't involve firearms, laws pertaining to firearms. Restrictions on firearms. Or villanize the civil right to keep and bear arms.

It would take a hell of alot of overcoming vehement opposition to repeal federal laws.

I have a solution for it. Wouldn't cost tax payers a dime either.
But the masses would have to accept they themselves are responsible for their well being and safety. And much of it would be voluntary. I've proposed to both my sheriff and Congressman a way to prevent mass shootings particularly-school shootings.
Wouldn't fly and the reason both say-it wouldn't fly with the overwhelming majority due to the way these events are reported. That's the truth too. The court of emotional public opinion has to be changed to get anything meaningful done.

What a sick world we live in when some people think the solution to all this violence is to station armed guards at every public meeting space.

How was what he said Victim blaming? He's not wrong for what he stated.
You don't see bank trucks getting nailed for millions in cash on board as often as a mass shooting event. I wonder if armed guards aboard them have anything to do with that.

That's quite a shark jump there...
Pretend this is a mathematical equation. Show your work proving he blamed victims. More than just hearsay because you say so.

Don't have to.

Go get your concealed carry permit for your state, be your own armed guard.

Yes, a security guard with a Glock would have definitely no question about it stopped the madman yesterday with his AR-15 and three other guns.

It does seem as if his automatic response to an incident of unprovoked violence is to blame the victim(s).

trump, along with his mindless supporters, blame the victims. Or at the very least, do not 100% put the blame on the perpetrator. Par for the course with the deplorables.
