Trump is right and if you want to read a well written article discussing the subject try this one. More control burns and harvesting of trees need to be done but CA environmentalist fight proper controls.
Do you think every state does the harvesting of trees...no. And yet, they don't have these fires. But these states get rain which Cali rarely gets. This is why they have fake grass.

They're quite amused. Finnish President has no idea what the hell Trump is talking about. And stable genius Trump left out that Finland is a much colder climate country with a crapload of water, not a major drought. Might make a difference, ya think?

The forested areas in California need to be cleaned out (cutting down the trees and raking out the undergrowth) and then burnt on a regular basis. Massive forest fires occurred naturally for millions of years, both in America and in Finland.
Unfortunately, the lknow-it-all liberal tree huggers think that forests are supposed to remain unharmed for millions of years, so they have allowed undergrowth to accumulate under trees that coukd have been harvested for lumber.

You know nothing about forest management with the comments you made.
First of all, a mature forest has little or no understory, and frankly, about the only critters you'll see there are squirrels, bugs and some birds. An understory is never used for timber, where in the heck did you get that perspective from?
Most conservationists understand the need for periodic fire, including those on the left. What makes you think they would not? Now, if you do a bit about forest management, tell me the best practice of harvesting, and why it is.
If you don't know, that's OK, but don't make comment that are either wrong or very incomplete. BTW, this IS my lane, just in case you want to walk down that road.

What do Trumpers not understand about the concept that when there is drought, it gets really dry, and when it gets really dry, then the forests catch on fire? Idiot Trump is comparing CA to Finland in how they don't have this, when Finland is a nordic country with a TON of water and no drought?? Do you people have any freaking brains in your heads?
Sure, CA can do better with forest management and will need to given the climate change that you deny. But to ignore what is happening with the drought over here suggest that we can just "rake the forests" or whatever he said and that will fix it is just stupid.
