I guess the only recourse may be to end briefings.
Correct. The press can go to Twitter to get their info.
Until some idiot judge rules that Trump can't do that either.

The Free Press portion of the First Amendment doesn't guarantee access to the President.

If that were the case, then thousands of journalists across the country could sue , claiming their rights are being violated because they aren't granted access.

Also, it's not Acosta's job to debate the President during a press briefing.

Oh, that's right. Trump has the SC in his pocket now. Just another battery of his paid lawyers for another of his many companies.

Cool story, Fatbob, but right wingers should be thrilled with this ruling...... funny how they don't seem to even know that, but i guess so many are so low information they were likely hoping Acosta would lose.....Trumpy folk are amusing time and time again they are cheering on their own demise and don't even know it...

Roberts Rules of Order would be completely inappropriate in a news briefing.

The Rules are to guide an organization toward making decisions that are fair for all. That allow all voices to be heard, and the will of the majority to prevail.

yes lets just ignore how Obama was handled with kid gloves while Trump is under constant assault from the media and then expect Trump to bend over and take it.

Well, it could be said that the judge who gave Acosta back his rights was appointed by Trump also.

So although he may think he has them "in his pocket", turns out he doesn't.

Thank God.

Yes. Imagine Obama or Clinton telling a female reporter that she asked a stupid question. Conservatives heads would expode of anger.
