It was interesting watching the 'worlds greatest business man, negotiator, deal maker' at work. It will be written and talked about for hundreds of years as a classic way to get things done. You go Donald! MAGA!

Exactly, no accomplishments in 2 years except seating 2 on the Supreme court and a tax cut for the rich, that is costing TRILLIONS!

LOL, A-N-O-T-H-E-R TANTRUM from the 400 lb. infant......loving his MELTDOWN!
Anyone would have been frustrated dealing with that people with that brick wall mentality. Schumer even disrespectfully spoke to the camera mocking the president for being proud that he won some obscure states in the election. Trump was respectful and they were immediately combative. Democrats should be embarrassed and ashamed.

They stop people all the time at the border.

It isn't always the Mexican/Cali border. It doesn't mean they were 'sneaking' in either.

Things have changed. Republicans running with the wall as their mandate lost in November.

Things have changed.

We live in a dynamic world.

AND -- let the House vote -- let's see if even his own party will support him.

The Democrats would be idiots to make a deal without knowing for sure if he does have all the Republican votes he needs.

Apparently, you are unaware of the republican form of government, instituted by the Declaration of Independence, wherein the American people are "sovereigns without subjects," and the president is merely the highest ranking public SERVANT, one step down in status from the lowest American sovereign.

But it is to be expected, since most Americans are victims of the world's greatest propaganda ministry, and are loathe to read their own laws and history.

REPUBLICAN FORMGOVERNMENT (Republican Form of Government)- One in which the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people ... directly...
- - - Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition, P. 695

". . . at the Revolution, the sovereignty devolved on the people, and they are truly the sovereigns of the country, but they are soveregns without subjects, and have none to govern but themselves. . ."
- - - Justice John Jay, Chisholm v. Georgia, 2 U.S. 2 Dall. 419 419 (1793)
No it does not. That is nothing but a senate rule that Republicans could replace any time they wish. If this is such a national security matter, then certainly it is more important than giving a tax break to billionaires or appointing a questionable candidate to the supreme court - both of which were done by a simple majority vote. No, the real reason they can't get a wall is that they don't have the votes in their own party to pass it.

I find it disturbing, you would sacrifice the safety & sovereignty of the greatest nation to ever exist on Mother Earth, to make you feel good about yourself.

Trump is a prideful person. He has been committed to this wall and it may not be because it truly is a great solution to an existing issue but because he said it was NEEDED. He's not going to back down now -- his pride won't let him.

Secure Fence Act wasn't a wall -- it was a fence -- almost half the size Trump is proposing and of course not as substantial AND...

The Democrats conceded on that Act because they felt it was the better of two evils at the time.

It was 12 years ago -- we live in a dynamic world people.

Let's move with the times -- lol.
