I mentioned e-verify in my post. Did you miss that? E-verify will stop the employers from hiring illegal aliens and therefore Americans will get their job back! They need to be fined and jailed for non-compliance also. Are you happy now? Reading comprehension is essential.
Even states with mandatory e-verify have carve outs for specific job classifications or they fail to enforce e-verify at all.
Trump could’ve had his wall in the spring , a full 25B was offered for a path to citizenship foR DACA. If they had done that , implemented e verify, and enforce visa overstays that wouldve been a win win. But he changed his mind, now he has nothing.

For me -- this is a less costly, less capital investment policy that would have an immediate impact.
There is always lots of talk about making employers accountable but no administration seems to want to go there.
It needs to be done first and foremost.
Take away the jobs.
In FY 2017 Congress provided DHS $292 million to build 40 miles of steel bollard wall in San Diego, El Centro and El Paso Sectors, Border Patrol’s highest priority locations in place of outdated, operationally ineffective barrier. DHS received its FY17 funding for border wall construction in May 2017. DHS awarded the first contract against that funding in November 2017 and began construction three months later in February 2018. As of November 21, 2018, CBP has constructed more than 31 of the 40 miles with the remaining 9 miles scheduled for completion by early 2019:
El Centro Project (2.25 miles): Completed.
El Paso Project (20 miles): Completed
San Diego Primary Project (14 miles): Completion anticipated in May 2019.
El Paso Project (4 miles): Construction started in September.

No it wasn't! Only a billion or so what offered. A mere pittance of what Trump needed. It was the Democrats that turned the deal down because they didn't want to give Trump what he asked for to build the wall. You should know you are wrong because Trump is only asking for $5 billion right now and yet the Democrats wont' support it to stop a government shut down.
You know darned well that the anti-wall people in here will still claim that these walls won't keep out the majority of border jumpers in spite of these facts and will jump right back to the ole "but, but, but Mexico is supposed to pay for it" rant......

Wasn't that in the article I cited on the low cost insurance program being a $900 million dollar subsidy? An amount, by the way, that blows away any "savings" from issuing them licenses.
Are you asking about the part about "value insurance"? That's my assessment. Show me what the percentage of drivers in Mexico carry auto insurance. Or homeownerss insurance. Or life insurance. These illegals come from a culture where insurance just isn't a big part of peoples lives, where the typical person doesn't shell out thousands per year on umptee kinds of insurance.
Anyway, my original point was to remove benefits and incentives for illegals. You introduced the effects in your zealous defense of every benefit and incentive. Is there anything at all you would support removing right now?
