Well, why not? Do you think that those who own that private land that abuts the border want illegals traipsing through there property?
Ranchers tell stories about the trash dumped on their land and how their cattle sometimes ingest that trash and end up dying from doing so. They talk about having to be armed when they're out and about doing their daily work. Some have had their dogs killed by illegals. Why wouldn't they want a wall or fence on their property?
What's with the "well duh"? It was you who implied that Trump wanted a wall from San Diego to Brownsville.
I'm not reading too much about ranchers wanting this wall, in fact the articles I find claim just the opposite
Quote:
“Trump has done some good things with immigration, but he’s 100 percent wrong about the wall,” said Dob Cunningham, 83, a lifelong rancher and retired Border Patrol agent who owns hundreds of acres abutting the border in Quemado, north of Eagle Pass. “I haven’t found anybody — and I know people from Nogales [Arizona] to Brownsville — who wants that wall.”
Statewide, 61 percent of Texans oppose building a wall, while 35 percent support it and 4 percent don’t know or declined to answer, according to a poll conducted in April by Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit leadership organization. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/s...152402734.html
Trump hasn't spent the money already appropriated Trump had 2 yrs of complete control in House and Senate and the wall was not an issue then despite his campaign promise
Now becuz he needs a distraction from the midterms, the Mueller investigation, and a stock market showing weakness the wall becomes SOOO important...
It is a deflection
Just like so much of Teump's agenda
Not policy--only poofery
No, he didn't.
Republicans didn't have a filibuster proof majority for legislation in the Senate. Even Harry Reid didn't try to eliminate that, and Mitch won't try either.
They warn travelers that they are entering an “active drug and human smuggling area” and they may encounter “armed criminals and smuggling vehicles traveling at high rates of speed.” Beginning less than 50 miles south of Phoenix, the signs encourage travelers to “use public lands north of Interstate 8” and to call 911 if they “see suspicious activity.”

The federal government has posted signs along a major interstate highway in Arizona, more than 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, warning travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and a local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the state.
Well evidently your savior Obama and his admin thought the same thing back in 2010.....
But don't worry about that...you agreed with him...back then....
Agreed. We just spend $10.6 billion to give to corrupt politicians in Mexico and Central America. Money that should have stayed in the pockets of American taxpayers, or at the least that should have gone to their security.
tiny does not care...they would rather give money to other countries than help the United States....

Seems to be the case of everyone on the left. They do everything they can come up with to harm American citizens. It's almost like they hate this nation.
Big difference between outrunning the border patrol in expensive trucks then passing then in a car doing 80.
Keep slapping, do you really think they were not outrunning the BP? If not, then how would they know about these trucks?
