the first one on the list is the leaking of 40 questions from mueller for trump. it was leaked to FOX news. since team mueller and the WH were the only two entities to have the info the question is which entity was more likely to have leaked directly to FOX news.
Never worked for Russia. But how odd is it that he is in perfect alignment with Russian foreign policy right down to obscure excuses why the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan years ago. And no records whatsoever of his private conversations with Putin.
In previous administrations presidential meetings with the Russians or Soviets were almost always attended by staff and or cabinet members. Notes taken and memorandums prepared for review by other administration officials. A President conducting secret Russian policy to what purpose?
There have been No Leaks coming out of Mueller...only indictments. The Mueller investigation is like a nuclear powered submarine that surfaces...issues indictments and court filings....the re-submerges. To this date this will be the Gold Standard of how Special Prosecution Investigations should be handled. Period.
Individual 1 has the best special counsel. Tremendous.
The people behind the scenes know what's going on, which is why the most hard core left-leaning media outlets are all starting to prepare their Democratic viewers/readers not to expect much from the Mueller report. The new narrative is going to be "Well it's there, Mueller just couldn't prove it"
- ABC News Reporter Has Bad News For Those Waiting For Mueller Bombshell: "ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl saod on Sunday that those who are hoping for a "bombshell" in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation are likely to be disappointed, according to his sources."
- Politico: Mueller report PSA: Prepare for disappointment "President Donald Trump's critics have spent the past 17 months anticipating what some expect will be among the most thrilling events of their lives: special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report on Russian 2016 election interference.
They may be in for a disappointment.
That’s the word POLITICO got from defense lawyers working on the Russia probe and more than 15 former government officials with investigation experience spanning Watergate to the 2016 election case."
- BobWoodward: No Evidence Of Trump-Russia Collusion, I Searched For Two Years "Did you, Bob Woodward, hear anything in your research in your interviews that sounded like espionage or collusion?" Hugh Hewitt asked Woodward.
"I did not, and of course, I looked for it, looked for it hard," Woodward answered.
I just want to confirm, at the end of two years of writing this book, this intensive effort, you saw no effort, you, personally, had no evidence of collusion or espionage by the president presented to you?" Hewitt asked.
- LawfareBlog (James Comey's partner/attorney's website): History Suggests Proving Collusion Between the Trump Campaign and Russia May be Impossible "given how collusion has actually been carried out in known real life cases, it is highly unlikely that Mueller will be able to find incontrovertible proof for it."
They are investigating much more than just Trump colluding directly with Russia. You know that right?
That's called mission creep. It's beyond the scope of Mueller's charge and it must stop. I felt the same way about the Whitewater investigation, when it verged into Clinton's sexual dalliances.
Individual 1 has the best special counsel. Tremendous.
For Trump to be "individual 1" an admission to sedition within the executive branch, is soon to follow, right?
Congress is the only one authorized to formally snoop on the President. Not within the executive branch to overthrow a duly elected President. That is Sedition. Conspiracy to commit Treason.
That's called mission creep. It's beyond the scope of Mueller's charge and it must stop. I felt the same way about the Whitewater investigation, when it verged into Clinton's sexual dalliances.
Except "mission creep" was legal back then. Congress changed the law to prevent that from happening again.
I agree, the "mission creep" is illegal and needs to stop.
"The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).
(c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters."
Someone on the radio put it perfectly today. Individual 1 may not be a Russian agent but he is a Russian asset. Bingo!
