I don't think you understand a democratic system of government.

He is POTUS of the whole country, all of us, not just those who voted for him.

You think his duty is to his base. Go ahead and build the wall. Let his base pay for it.

He is POTUS for the whole country, but he should govern according to his campaign pledges. Don't like it? Win the next presidential election.

The Trump voter's share each for the wall would be 80 bucks. Or they could sell ads like at ballparks.

He also said Mexico would pay for it.

He also ran on fixing the healthcare system, great care at reduced cost? That vanished.

Obama was gonna close Gitmo. But McConnell said his job was to make Obama a one term POTUS and throw a wrench into anything Obama wanted to do.

So much for campaign pledges. Ya win some and lose some.

Trump gets accused of being a dictator, fascist etc but at least here, he's being a very democratic leader.
I thought Trump was president for all the citizens of the country, not just his base. He should actually be listening to both sides. And listening to his base might be a good thing if they were giving him good advice. But they're not.

Then you didn't have a problem with the ACA? That is really good to know.

Of course he's weak. That's how Putin got to him. You're mistaking bloviating and blustering for strength.

You don't just promise you will do A during your election, then when you get elected, say sorry, I can't do A because the other half want B and I need to be "president for all Americans" (whatever this platitude actually means).

He has duty to keep fighting for that wall. He might not be successful, but he should be fighting for it.

Yes, Congress does too. That's why the Dems passed multiple bills trying to get the government open. Unlike Trump who's willing to split the baby in half.
